Overall, it was pretty good! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We tried the Beef Tartare and the Bulgogi Tower. The Bulgogi Tower was much bigger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. We also loved the complimentary soft serve at the end. One thing I wasn’t sure about was that the beef tartare came with enoki mushrooms as a garnish. I didn’t think they were meant to be eaten raw…

Delicious Koren food. Vegetable dishes are very tasty. Salad is normal. They prepared pork which is ok hot and tasty. Beef and chicken we grilled. Service is very good. We enjoyed the food and atomsphere. Got a free ice cream too ☺️

The food and service were both good, and the staff were extremely accommodating and attentive throughout our visit. One nice touch was the complimentary tea and ice cream. We visited as a group of five—three adults and two children—and ordered the Silver Combo, potstickers, and an additional serving of pork belly. The portions were just enough. The only area that could use improvement is the ventilation. Because of the grilling, the smoke can build up and become a bit overwhelming at times. It would help if the restaurant improved the ventilation system or changed the metal grills more frequently to reduce the heavy smoky smell.

This is a good spot to come to. The food quality is consistently great, the atmosphere is fun and lively, and never too noisy. Overall it’s a place I genuinely like to come with family and friends. Once the main meal is over though, the service seems to disappear. Getting someone’s attention for dessert or the check becomes a challenge. On our most recent visit, it took about 45 minutes with us pressing the service button, and stopping three different servers before they finally came by for us. By the time they were ready for our dessert order, we were just ready for the bill. There's no vents so when you're done eating you're just sitting in the heat, and it becomes apparent especially when you can't order the ice cream then after. I highly recommend the ube shaved ice cream by the way. It does take some time to make, and unfortunately, seemingly, trying to get somebody to take your dessert order takes even more time. It’s a great place with great food but it’s surprisingly hard to wrap up your meal. I hope they can improve the end-of-meal service, because everything else about the experience is wonderful.

First restaurant of 2026! We went to Chicago Galbi House and had a great overall experience. The restaurant is easy to find and parking was simple since it's located in a plaza. Inside, it's very spacious, which I really liked -- didn't feel cramped at all. The employees were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We started with the seafood pancake, which was delicious and perfectly crispy. Definitely recommend. We also ordered the steamed eggs, but those were overcooked and not something I'd get again. Had much better ones! For our main dish, we ordered the pork backbone and potato soup, and wow -- the pork literally fell off the bone. So tender and full of flavor. That dish alone made the visit worth it. At the end of the meal, they give you a soft serve ice cream! So yummy! Would definitely come back and try more from the menu! Side note: There are no vents at the tables. Your hair and clothes will smell like Korean bbq! Lol
